Customer requested GW Construction, Inc. to fabricate, erect and install the necessary tanks, piping and related equipment for an asphalt emulsion facility. Photo 1 Prior to this photo, GW Construction has already completed the construction of the internal heat coils, the concrete tank pads have been poured and the tanks positioned. Nozzles for the products and heat coils must be installed in all tanks. Also vents, gauge assemblies and mixers must be installed. Photo 2 The pipe lane structure is fabricated and erected. Piping for the product, heat and reagents is installed. Each product or reagent is directed by the piping to the appropriate tank in preparation for production. Photo 3 Pumps and related piping are installed to move the products through the production process and to storage. Photo 4 Each facility has its own design characteristics, but the piping design and basic flow requirements remain uniform.
