Any shell penetrations or inserts, even in existing UL-142 tanks, will meet or exceed the API 653 standard. In most circumstances we can repair your tank to a safe an operable condition in compliance with API 653. Within our company we have a certified API 653 tank inspector to insure that all repairs are in compliance with the standard. Need to relocate nozzles? GW Construction can remove the old nozzles, repair the shell with inserts, fabricate new nozzles, install the nozzles and relocate your piping. Your tank will comply with API 653 and your piping will be completed to ASME B31.3 or any specification you request. The advantage? Less transitional time changing from one specialty contractor to another, fewer move-in charges and a superior repair. Many contractors do not offer qualified welding services on piping and tanks, therefore you are assured that tank projections are installed in such a manner that piping can be prefabricated with no conflict or modification. This will save you time and money. Need a new floor or roof? GW Construction can install a complete floor or roof at your request. The products and services GW Construction offers for asphalt storage or production tanks include: internal heat coils, product and heat nozzles, mixers, manholes, vents, explosion hatches, installation of gauging equipment and any shell modifications you require. We install floors and roofs when required. For UL-142 tanks, we can furnish all of the above services and can fabricate or install oxidizing equipment. The products and services we offer for gasoline or chemical storage tanks include: shell modifications, repairs or additions to the internal floating roof, replacement or installation of mechanical, foam or wiper seals. We fabricate and/or install flow diffusers, suction troughs, water drawoff nozzles, sumps, overflow protection and gauge assemblies.
